Research Assistant (Soil Cons) Soil Conservation Officer, in charge of Andaman and Nicobar Islands pioneering work (1958–1972) under the technical guidance of Dr. J.K. Basu, Dr. D.C. Kaith members of the then Soil Cons. Board, Govt. of India and Dr. N.D. Rege, Joint Commissioner (Soil Cons.) Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. S.P. Raychaudhuri, Chief Soil Survey Officer, IARI, GOI, New Delhi. Soil Chemist, Principal Scientist and Head, Regional Centre Eastern and North Eastern states including Sikkim, Andaman and Nicobar Islands initially under All India Soil and Land Use Survey under IARI and later National Bureau of Soil Survey and Land Use Planning under ICAR, Kolkata (1972 – 1993). Commissioner, Kerala State Land Use Board, Govt. of Kerala (1993- 1997), Land Resources Inventory, Land Degradation, Integrated Mission Project on sustainable development, Kerala State Watershed Atlas, Resource Based Perspective Plan 2020 etc. were prepared for scientific land use (1992 – 1995), Draft land use Policy for Kerala State prepared. Director, Kerala State Remote Sensing and Environment Centre, Govt. of Kerala. This centre was reactivated with enough potential and assisted in the execution of projects. Co-Consortium Project Investigator, National Agricultural Innovation Project – NAIP-2 (Production to Consumption System) ICAR through a “value chain project on coconut fibre and its diversified products (2009 to 2013)”. Performed consultancy work on project evaluation for Ministry of Rural Areas and Employment, Department of Wasteland Development, Ministry of Environment and Forests (GOI).
